PardonInfo · Federal clemency intelligence

The pardon record, mapped to the people and paper around it.

PardonInfo starts with warrants and proclamations, then traces every sourced path outward: filings, donations, lobbying, dockets, businesses, family ties, associates, and reported links.

How the record is built

A public-record workflow for clemency.

Step 01

Establish the grant

Every record begins with the pardon, commutation, remission, or reprieve itself: who received it, who granted it, when it happened, and which source proves it.

Step 02

Attach the source trail

DOJ warrants, Federal Register proclamations, court dockets, restitution records, FEC filings, LDA filings, FARA records, and reported links stay distinct and auditable.

Step 03

Trace only what can be shown

Connections to presidents, families, campaigns, businesses, donors, lobbyists, and associates are labeled as sourced relationships, not motive or causation.

Data status

Live record first. Relationship graph next.

The clemency dataset is being caught up before the site exposes stronger connection language. That keeps the product useful without overstating what a source can prove.

Audit sources
  • Recipient and grant pages are live, backed by structured clemency records.

  • DOJ warrant parsers now cover modern tables, Clinton-era tables, Obama vertical-label records, and older date-per-row pages.

  • AI summaries are cached from the structured record; page renders do not call AI models directly.

  • OpenFEC Schedule A donation ingestion is implemented as a coarse name-match pass and still needs reconciliation before strong relationship language is exposed.

  • The full president, family, friends, business, donor, lobbyist, and campaign connection graph is planned after the clemency dataset is caught up.

Evidence standards

A connection is not an accusation.

The site separates official records, reported links, and internal research leads so readers can see what is known, what is attributed, and what is not public yet.

Primary-source verified

Evidence tiers

Official filings, court records, DOJ and Federal Register documents, FEC/LDA/FARA records, White House releases, and official business records.

Reported

Attributed reporting

Reputable journalism can support a connection, but it is labeled as reported and attributed by outlet and date.

Research lead

Internal only

Unverified leads stay out of public pages until upgraded to a reviewed primary-source or reported connection.
